3-second rule (noun): the vow to make a move, approach someone, or voice an opinion in the first seconds that it comes to mind so you don't chicken out. Used by players that want to seem confident, and by shy teenage girls that otherwise back out of things too often.
Yesterday, I came up with this solution to the problem I had. Things went good when I used it today, and so I plan on making it a part of my normal routine from now on. I figure it's a good life skill to be used in any specific situation.
